Danny Ray Cole at Borders Cafe September 30, 2000 By William Kitchens Keeping Gwinnett County seated in its musical roots, Danny Ray Cole performed to a receptive audience at Borders Cafe located in the Borders Books and Music Store, just across from Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, Georgia.
Combining a mix of popular and well known "fiddle" tunes, Danny also performed a selection of songs from his first two CD releases, Georgia Gold and Thunder Road. The crowd responded enthusiastically to all of the material presented in the 75 minute plus set.
The Saturday evening show at Borders capped off a very busy day for the popular entertainer. Mr. Cole, earlier in the day was a featured entertainer in the Duluth Fall Festival. An event drawing huge crowds from all over the metro Atlanta area. After the event at Borders, Danny took the time to visit with both dedicated and new fans, signing autographs and discussing his music with the crowd.
