DANNY RAY COLE PROVIDES MUSIC FOR TOP ENTERTAINMENT THEATRICAL DANCE PRODUCTION OF "COMMON GROUND"
A selection of songs written by Danny Ray Cole, one of North Georgia's premier songwriters are currently being used in the original "Top Entertainment" music and dance production of "Common Ground." The show, a "Riverdance" like performance set to the music and dance of American Celtic heritage, is now in its third theatrical season and is currently booking a fourth.
The instrumental tunes, "Whispering Waters" from Danny Ray's CD entitled "Georgia Gold" and "Crowing in the Canyon" from his "Thunder Road" CD were selected by the show's producer, Lorraine Ronnie to complement the score for the popular touring production. Danny was also brought in to record fiddle and mandolin tracks for additional songs in the show.
Danny Ray Cole, already a well known entertainer and songwriter in the Atlanta market is excited about having his music presented across the nation in cities like Boston, MA, Pierre, SD, Myrtle Beach, SC and other towns in New Jersey, Florida, Texas and Wisconsin.
Having his music theatrically produced adds to an already impressive list of accomplishments Danny Ray Cole has achieved.
Some which include being named 1989 Top North Georgia Fiddler and touring with the late great Country Music Hall of Fame legend, Bill Monroe.
Danny, who performs and writes a wide variety of music including bluegrass, celtic, country and blues, has just finished the recording his new all instrumental CD, "Places You Go." Adding to his already eclectic musical styles, the new project (to be released later this spring) even includes some Latin flavored melodies. The CD offers the listener a broad range of musical styles united by traditional instrumentation. "This is by far,
